Terms of Use
Last Updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of ledgeburg.com ("Ledgeburg", "the site", "we", "us"), a free financial data website operated by Ledgeburg, based in Stockholm, Sweden. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What Ledgeburg is - and isn't
Ledgeburg provides financial statement data and related information sourced from public SEC filings, for informational purposes only.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. No content on Ledgeburg constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, or an opinion on whether any investment is suitable for you.
The data is impersonal and not tailored to anyone's financial situation or objectives. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary, and we are not licensed or regulated as any of those things in any jurisdiction.
Investing involves risk, including loss of principal. Past performance shown in any historical data does not guarantee future results. You alone are responsible for your investment decisions; before making any, consider consulting a qualified financial, legal, or tax professional.
2. Data accuracy - no warranty
We source data directly from SEC EDGAR filings and take care to present it faithfully, but we do not guarantee that anything on the site is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
Errors can occur in our processing and in the source filings themselves. Data may be delayed, revised, or superseded by later filings.
The site and all its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Always verify figures against the original filing on SEC EDGAR before relying on them for any decision. See our Data Sources page for how our data is produced and why it may differ from other providers.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ledgeburg and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost savings, or trading losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its data, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under Swedish law.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Ledgeburg freely for personal and internal business purposes. You agree not to:
Scrape, harvest, crawl, or bulk-download content from the site by automated means, or circumvent any rate limits or technical protections we put in place. (Search engine crawlers operating per our robots.txt are welcome.)
Redistribute, resell, or republish the site's content at scale, or use it to build a competing dataset or service. Note that the underlying SEC filing data is public domain — if you want it in bulk, get it from SEC EDGAR directly, which is free and faster than scraping us.
Interfere with the site's operation, probe or test its security, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
5. Intellectual property
The site's design, code, presentation, original text, and derived features are the property of Ledgeburg. The underlying financial data in SEC filings is public domain and we claim no ownership over it.
You may quote or reference reasonable portions of the site with attribution; systematic reproduction of the site itself requires our written permission.
6. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites (for example, SEC EDGAR or company investor pages). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
7. Changes to the site and these terms
Ledgeburg is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features or content at any time without notice. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll revise the date at the top.
Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be flagged more prominently.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Sweden, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
